The Los Angeles Marathon will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2015. The Marathon starts at Dodger Stadium and goes through Downtown, then across Hollywood and West Hollywood, through Beverly Hills, Century City, and Westwood, and finishes in Santa Monica.
Please be advised there will be traffic closures in the area beginning around 4:00 AM and continuing on a rolling basis throughout the day. Specifically, the route will travel down Santa Monica Blvd between Wilshire and Sepulveda, requiring the closure of that stretch for most of the morning. Streets in the Century City and Beverly Hills area are tentatively scheduled to re-open between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM, at the discretion of the Police and Fire Departments. Please plan accordingly if your travels will bring you into the area on Sunday.
